Dear Guest,Welcome to the RichardCHalverson.Com website, which seeks to deliver the message that my late father, Richard C. Halverson sought to convey during his years of service as an emissary for Christ and His kingdom. Simply put this message is ‘Christ in you’ – the central theme of the Word of God and the essential vision that must be written so ‘he may run who reads it’. (Habakkuk 2:2-3) In the coming days, we shall endeavor to keep this vision before you, like the ‘point of eternity’ that artists employ in the technique of perspective for the appearance of depth, dimension and reality in their compositions. Scripture calls this point of reference: ‘The mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the saints…which is Christ in you, the hope of glory’. (Colossians 1:25f) As God allows, we shall present you with this crucial message in the form of a devotional letter called Perspective, which my father began to distribute to his friends in 1949. He wrote the Perspective letter that follows at age seventy-five. In the coming days, we hope to expand on this message through new editions of Perspective as well as in prayers, sermons and booklets. If you are interested, we also plan to post a Journal that accounts for the work that God is continuing to do in and through us at home and abroad as we seek to remain true to the ‘faith of our fathers’. In closing, I must add that if you have been disappointed by past visits to RichardCHalverson.Com, please accept our deepest apologies. For a time, due to circumstances beyond our control, the site was somewhat inactive and even misrepresented by a group that purchased it out from under us. As we look to the future, please be sure to sign the Guest Book and make any comments or suggestions that you wish. We look forward to hearing from you. Earnestly, Chris Halverson You may also contact us at ChristianHalverson@msn.com
